I would say about 20 revisions… and then two days before leaving, I did a practice pitch with Kim Bonniksen thinking I was 100% ready and that she would give me a nice little pat on the back and said I did good… But instead, I got a gut punch of truth. She told me it was boring and that I probably deep down inside really hated it. And she was right. So long story short, I got off the call with her and started from scratch again. I wrote for five hours straight. And then I sent her the new script in a voice message and she approved. And then I probably worked another few hours to refine it down to four minutes.
